Dear Anti-Gay Marriage Assholes

Anyway, here's what your fucking hate-filled legislation gets you. Remember all that bullshit about "Oh, you can get the legal protection you need without marriage"? Yeah, let's see what that got Janice Langbehn, as her partner of 17 years slipped into a coma:

Pond's medical problems began in February 2007 when she, Langbehn and their three adopted children were aboard a cruise ship docked in Miami. The Washington state couple and their children were on vacation.

Pond suddenly collapsed from a heart attack and was rushed to the trauma center.

Though Langbehn had documents declaring her Pond's legal guardian and giving her the medical ''power of attorney,'' Jackson officials refused to recognize her or the kids as family.

Note, this was before FL's recent Amendment 2 passage. Note also she had legal documents giving her medical power of attorney. Oh, but they weren't married, so the hospital was free to ignore that. What was that bullshit about separate but equal you fuckers are always on about? It seems to not work so well. Oh wait, that's right, YOU DON'T ACTUALLY FUCKING CARE ABOUT GAY PEOPLE, DO YOU.

Congratulations, you fucked over someone in a stable, loving relationship that lasted longer than most marriages, and their kids. Oh yeah, the kids. Read that last part...the hospital refused to recognize the kids as family.

Wow, even more win. The kids don't get to say goodbye to their mom.

Aren't all you anti-gay marriage people proud? You protected those kids from saying goodbye to a dying parent. Aren't you all just fucking precious as can be.
