It gets stupider by the second

Read this.

Linger lovingly on this part:

In fact, some of the most basic details, including the $700 billion figure Treasury would use to buy up bad debt, are fuzzy.

"It's not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."

Let me emphasize that last part...
In fact, some of the most basic details, including the $700 billion figure Treasury would use to buy up bad debt, are fuzzy.

"It's not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."

For fuck's sake...they can't even be assed to actually come up with a real number. Oh no. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."

You know what? Everyone who voted against that shit? Regardless of reason, good on you. How the fuck do you try to commit almost a trillion dollars on a number you picked because it sounded nice and big. Holy fuck, they're not even pretending anymore, they're just saying "We think you're too stupid to notice shit, even when we tell you were putting one over on you."

I know this will be scary for some of you, especially Notes fans. However, open standards, rah-rah.
If you want to use less-than or greater-than signs, or other similar characters that HTML reserves,
you'll simply have to learn to do it the HTML way. Luckily, HTML is kind of popular, no matter what
your re-educators have told you, and you can easily find help on the intertubes.
