Can we have a break today?

I know it's going to be politicized. I know if nothing else, Rudy will use today to try and get people to think that he is the sole source of smartness in the universe. It's inevitable. But amongst all the yelling and screaming:

Seven years ago, a lot of people died because someone who worships a slightly different god and was crazy had decided to teach the infidels a lesson.

Seven years ago, we lost two iconic buildings we thought we'd have forever.

Seven years ago, a lot of families were shredded.

Seven years ago, it all started for me with Schoun Regan saying HOLY SHIT in a Mac OS X Server class.

Seven years ago, some people on a plane, realizing what was going on decided that no, they weren't going to go gently into that good night, and in their sacrifice, saved a lot of lives.

Seven years ago, if an Apple Mac OS X Server class had started a day later, I might have been on one of those planes.

So could we not politicize 9/11? Just for today? The rest of it is still all open game. But lets leave that one alone. Just for today, okay?

I know this will be scary for some of you, especially Notes fans. However, open standards, rah-rah.
If you want to use less-than or greater-than signs, or other similar charachters that HTML reserves,
you'll simply have to learn to do it the HTML way. Luckily, HTML is kind of popular, no matter what
your re-educators have told you, and you can easily find help on the intertubes.
