Poor Abbie

Some of you may know that I'm a science junkie. Love the science, Love It. I also love opinionated assholes who are also scientists. Therefore it's not surprising that I subscribe to ERV's feed. Abbie's frigging great.

But she is young, and so she keeps running into something us old pharts discovered long ago:

You will never be *too* cynical, and yes, people will always exceed even your worst estimates of their stupidity.
She discovers this again in her post about how the prats behind "Expelled" are, shockers, stealing yet more content for their bad attempt at The Big Lie:
Okay, so like, you all know what I think about Creationists. Im not an appeaser. Im mad at the current generation of PhDs for not crushing them years ago. I continually get reprimanded from the PTers for calling Creationists 'stupid'-- but every time I hear Behe/Wells/whoever speak Im shocked the men can figure out how to feed themselves, much less get a goddamn PhD.

I think theyre evil little morons.

I didnt think it was physically possible for my opinion of them to go any lower.

You know the next line: I was wrong.

Yep, you were indeed wrong.

I have further bad news for you Abbie: The older you get, the worse it gets.

But cheer up, that's why we have beer!

Warning for Notes users: The commenting system uses HTML.
I know this will be scary for some of you, especially Notes fans. However, open standards, rah-rah.
If you want to use less-than or greater-than signs, or other similar characters that HTML reserves,
you'll simply have to learn to do it the HTML way. Luckily, HTML is kind of popular, no matter what
your re-educators have told you, and you can easily find help on the intertubes.
