Apple, don't be a bunch of tools.

Look, I have as much fun as anyone taking digs at Microsoft. Lord knows, when Steve "Hoofinmouth" Ballmer is running the show, the opportunities just squirt right out in a constant stream of WTF.

But this?

As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it," Apple said on its site.

That's both stupid and tacky. Unless you can show video of Ballmer doing a ninja virus slipstream in the iPod factory, it's your fault. It's not Windows' fault. It's not Microsoft's. It's not the fault of Jokey Smurf.

It's yours. Admit it, apologize, and move on. Even if you were joking, don't make that joke as a part of your public statement, because it then slaps your "apology" with the festering scent of hypocrisy.

That's bullshit guys, and you should know better. I think at the very least, Joswiak owes Microsoft a rather public apology for that. Lame guys, real lame.
