I put up a couple folder actions and some script menu scripts for Apple Remote Desktop 3, with copious comments and readmes and descriptions, all of which should be read, as they answer many questions. They're mostly to show some examples of what you can do with AppleScript and Apple Remote Desktop 3. (Yes, it MUST be 3, no earlier versions are scriptable.)
Oh, and if you are going to play with Folder Actions, you'll want to debug them, and in that case, the ONLY way to fly is Script Debugger. It's the bomb-diggity.
