Feed types

So based on my own experiences on my SmartPhone, I'm going to stick with a flexible partial feed. That is, i'm not going to arbitrarily limit it to n-lines or what have you. If it's a short post, like this one, then I'll just let the whole thing go. If it's long, then I'll put the first couple paragraphs in, or enough to give you the general idea of the article, so you, the reader, can decide if it's worth the effort to read the rest.

The truth is, I'm really verbose, and I really don't like being forced to download a long post that I don't know if I even want to read because of an inflexible decision. I'm also not about to try and rig up multiple feeds so that every possible preference can be spoon - fed to their liking. A choice of any kind means you kill off an alternative, and that's what I'm doing. I'm going with flexible partial feeds. If that's not acceptable, well, okay, sorry about that.

Warning for Notes users: The commenting system uses HTML.
I know this will be scary for some of you, especially Notes fans. However, open standards, rah-rah.
If you want to use less-than or greater-than signs, or other similar characters that HTML reserves,
you'll simply have to learn to do it the HTML way. Luckily, HTML is kind of popular, no matter what
your re-educators have told you, and you can easily find help on the intertubes.
